We led the way and helped bring about the EU ban which has been in effect for 5 years, but sadly animal testing is permitted in 80% of countries around the world today. Alternatives to animal testing are quicker, more accurate and often cheaper. Which means that around half a million animals are harmed and killed every year for absolutely no reason.
