Today's volunteer is a woman name Jackie Warner, and while she's got plenty to be happy about she tends not to smile very much because of her teeth. Well, we'll let her explain. Jackie Warner: My name is Jackie Warner and I'm here at the Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry to improve my smile. Having a beautiful smile has always been a dream of mine. Dr. Debra Gray King: At the Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, we design smiles. Our focus is on taking people who have average smiles or smiles that they're not proud of and making their smiles just look fabulous. When you have a smile that you're confident in a lot of times that carries over into other aspects of our patients' lives. Jackie Warner: I'm really excited to get this done. It's a new day. It's a new part of my life. Mia Butler: Jackie's ready to feel better about her smile and herself, and we're going to send a camera along for the entire process. So, let the cruise begin after this break. Mia Butler: We're back and if you're just joining us, today we are part of a special makeover for our volunteer, Jackie Warner. For years, Jackie's felt like a better, bright smile would help her feel more positive about her life, so she's decided to have dental veneers made for her teeth. Dr. Debra Gray King: Good morning! How are you? Dr. King: My game plan for Jackie is to redesign her smile and not only whiten and straighten her teeth, but I also want to get her midline a little bit more centered and lengthen her teeth a little bit. Dr. King: Jackie, we're about to begin the procedure. You're going to be here probably about 4 hours and before you leave you're going to have beautiful, custom temporaries to wear out. Jackie's all done for today and now we're going to have our ceramist make the porcelain restorations. Jackie Warner: Well, it's been about a month I've had my temps in and I'm ready to go in and get my permanent teeth in and I couldn't be more excited so here I go! Dr. King: When Jackie first came in, the first step of the process was to meet with our consultant and take some pre-operative photographs, and to kind of come up with a game plan that we wanted to achieve with Jackie. The final step of the process is after Jackie has worn her temporaries for several weeks, we'll be removing those temporaries and actually bonding in the individual pieces of porcelain. Dr. King: What do you think of your new smile? Jackie: I love them! They're Beautiful! Oh my gosh! Mia Butler: You can tell Jacque is smiling from ear to ear behind that mirror, but she's keeping the new grin under wraps for a but, at least until we can give her a new look to compliment her pearly whites. Mia: Alright, we're here in studio with our experts and Jackie's husband, Jeremy. Then, Jackie came in studio to get a new look to match her pearly whites courtesy of stylist, Elan and Jordynn. So, are you guys ready to see her? (All): Yes! Mia: Me too! Alright, come on out Jackie! You look sensational! So, how do you feel? Jackie: I feel great! I love it! Mia: So, has the new look changed you at all? You feel a change on the inside? Jackie: It's amazing with a new smile, not just on the outside but how it makes you feel inside, it's amazing! Thank you Dr. King! Dr. King: Oh, you're welcome! Mia: Dr. King, what do you think of our patient here? Dr. King: She just looks fabulous! Her smile is beautiful, healthy, white, and most importantly, it looks so natural! Congratulations! Jackie: And I've gotten good advice for hair and makeup! Mia: Yes, you did! I love the hair and makeup! Elan Bongiorno: To compliment that gorgeous smile, I really wanted the eyes to pop so I decided to do a classic look by using all Revlon products. She looks beautiful! Mia: She really does, gorgeous and I really love this outfit! Jordan Feldman: Well, she's cute. It's fun, it's young, it's enjoyable! It's not so stuffy, you know? She can relax and enjoy her life. Mia: Alright, well good luck! And thank you guys! It has been so much fun! Dr. King: My pleasure! Mia: Ok, I think we all have something to smile about after today's makeover.
