'Using ICE Blends Making an Instant Cold Emulsion using our ICE Blends is very easy. These blends consist of different thickeners and emulsifiers that will reduce the formulation time. No heating is required. MakingCosmetics offers many different ICE Blends (ICE Alginate, ICE Blend, ICE Conditioner, ICE HairGel, ICE Silicone and ICE Sunflower). In this video we\'re going to use the ICE Silicone Blend in this formulation for a day cream. Start with the water phase (72.3%), then add the ICE Silicone (8%) and mix with a stick blender or a homogenizer (it does not have to be completely smooth as we will mix it again). Add premium oils such as Moroccan Argan oil & Avocado oil (4% each). Stir well. Add herbal extracts of your choice (i.e. aloe vera 10x concentrate - 1%, white tea extract - 4%). Add super moisturizer (i.e. Hyaluronic Acid in Algae Extract - 5%) Stir well. Add preservative of your choice. Finish with a fragrance of your choice (i.e. Mangosteen - 0.2%). Give it a good final mix with the stick blender until smooth and lump free and package into our new fancy ParisPot container. Your skin will love it! SkinCare properties: moisturizing, soothing and anti-oxidizing.
