'I thought I would try IT Celebration Foundation for my \"Rainy Day\" kit that contains makeup that isn\'t natural & that I wear on only occasion. I tried it. On its own, I saw lines. Over Suntegrity (dimethicone primer), I didn\'t see lines. I have the shade Fair, and it\'s a bit too yellowy & tan for me in winter. I need a true pink porcelain this time of year. And, yes, less than 2 hours into the IT foundation over the primer: THE RETURN OF THE LINES! It\'s going back! Below is my current (and growing!) list of favorite natural foundations, BB creams, and tinted sunscreens. I\'ve listed prices, but of course, look for specials & expect 10-25% discount. My criteria: (1) must be effective for me, which means can\'t accentuate lines, don\'t want to see it sitting on my skin, & must provide minimal to medium coverage, (2) must be clean, natural, product--mildly preserved or requiring no preservatives, (3) must be cruelty-free (not all options are vegan, but many are), and (4) must have skin benefits b/c why not? You can get natural products that improve your skin while providing sun protection and coverage. I might have to do a video of this because it appears in writing this out that I have a lot of opinions! It was too long to save, so had to cut a bunch of commentary, including best way to applies, benefits & drawbacks of each... Foundations I can wear even in Winter (this used to be a problem category, but no longer...): --Raw Skin Ceuticals CosmeCeuticals BB Matte Creme. Preserved with a mild preservative (\"vitamin C blend\" & potassium sorbate) VEGAN $16.50 (Abe\'s Market sale price) to $22.00 for .5 oz. --Suntegrity: Contains Dimethicone (silicone). Preserved with Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, a mild preserved used in contact lens solution. VEGAN $45 for 1.7 oz. (Definitely follow Suntegrity and watch Beauty Sage for specials. No need to pay the full hefty price!) --Cowgirl Dirt Southern Belle Cream Foundation. Not a water-based product so doesn\'t require a preservative other than vitamin E. Beeswax. $25.99 for .75 oz. (sign up with them to get notices of specials!) --Christopher Drummond Veludo Velvet Foundation (loose mineral with essential oils). Still trying out this one, but early impressions are quite strong: VEGAN. $50 for 8 grams of product. Nice intro kit for $49. I got mine 25% off. The other 3-seasons: (1) The All Natural Face Cream Foundation. VEGAN $6.50 for 10g jar; $12.45 for 20g jar (and believe it or not, they have specials!) (2) Celtic Complexion Tinted Moisturizer for SPF for Sensitive Skin: Preserved only with Vit. E. VEGAN $59.95 for 1 oz. Sign up for her newsletter, follow on Facebook, & watch for her 2 for one specials!!!! (3) Mineral Foundations in general. There are a host of them across a spectrum of price points. There is absolutely no reason to have mineral foundations with irritants and fillers (e.g., bismuth oxycholoride). Pick a company and a price point; there are sooooo many excellent options, including the All Natural Face, Silk Naturals, Jane Iredale (the Wayne Goss favorite), Meow Cosmetics, Cowgirl Dirt, Fusion of Color, Christopher Drummond, Youngblood, and the list goes on.... On my list to try: Physicians Formula Organic Wear CC Cream & Silk Naturals HD Cream Foundation, Youngblood Mineral Radiance Crème Powder Foundation (if I can get over the polyethylene in it; strange choice for a natural company...)'
