'Dragon Chicken Recipe in Tamil [ Indo Chinese ] [ Restaurant Style ] | Spice and Buds'

'Dragon Chicken is a delicious Indo Chinese chicken recipe. This Chinese chicken starter recipe is a must go with fried rice and noodles. Ingredients:-     - 500 g Chicken Breast For Brining    - 1 tbsp Vinegar    - 1 tsp Salt    - Warm Water For Marination    - 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste    - ½ tsp Pepper Powder    - 1 tbsp Red Chilli Paste    - 1 tbsp Soya Sauce    - Salt    - Egg white of one egg    - 3 tbsp Corn Flour    - 3 tbsp Maida (or) All-Purpose Flour    -    Oil (for frying) For Dragon Chicken Preparation    - 4 tbsp Oil    - 50 g Cashew Nuts    - 2 ½ tbsp Red Chilli Sauce    - 2 ½ tbsp Tomato Sauce    - 4 tbsp Soya Sauce    - 1 tsp Sugar    - 1 tsp White Pepper Powder    - 1 tsp White Sesame Seeds    - ½ Cup Capsicum (Julian cutting)    - ¼ Cup Carrot (Julian cutting)    - ½ Cup Onion    - 1 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)    - 1 tbsp Ginger (finely chopped)    - 5 No’s Dried Red Chillies     Method:-  Clean and cut the chicken breast meat into 3-inch length strips. Now add in salt, vinegar and warm water as required. Set aside for 1 hour.  After an hour wash it and drain out the water well. Doing this step will make the chicken juicy inside and crispy outside while frying the chicken. Now marinate the chicken with chilli paste, pepper powder, salt, soya sauce, ginger-garlic paste, cornflour, Maida and egg white. Set aside for 30 Mins. Meanwhile, cut different coloured capsicums and a medium-sized onion into Julian pieces.  Keep it aside.  After 30 mins heat a pan and add oil to it. Keep the flame on medium heat. Add chicken to the hot oil and fry it for 2 to 3 Minutes.  Now heat another pan and add any refined oil. Add-in a hand full of cashew nuts. Roast it for a minute, then transfer into a bowl. Keep it for garnishing. In the same oil add finely chopped ginger, garlic and dried red chillies. Stir once and sauté for a minute. Add in capsicum, onion and carrots. Mix well to combine and cook for 1-2 Minutes. Now add in soya sauce, tomato sauce and chilli sauce. Mix well to combine and cook for a Minutes. Adjust the measurement of sauces as per your taste. All the sauces contain salt, so adjust the salt after adding sauces. Also adjust the soya sauce measurement according to its type i.e whether it is dark, light or all-purpose.  Add white pepper powder along with sugar and stir once. Sugar will adjust the sour taste of sauces. Now add fried chicken to this and mix well to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Finally, spread fried cashew nuts and white sesame seed on top of it and switch off the flame.  Our tasty and delicious restaurant-style Dragon Chicken is ready to serve. Enjoy!!!!!
