'Today I\'m taking cheap makeup and re-packaging it into antique pillboxes i found at my local antique store to create a vintage make up kit! I\'ve wanted to do this project for a while now, fancy make up always gets me in a fancy mood when I\'m going out for a nice dinner with the family. The make up is cheep stuff I bought at CVS, but beware; even cheap makeup can get expensive! I bought the blush in two rounds over the course of a month to soften the effect on my wallet. After the lipstick is melted it can be applied using a small brush. I softened the powdered blush and eye shadows with alcohol and pressed it together with a round object to compact it. Be sure let the blush/eye shadow dry completely. Also, I used a paper towel to press the blush down but if i did this again i would use wax paper to avoid wasting blush (the paper towel stole a bunch of my blush). Fun Fact: My Great Grandma hand painted the pink china dish that i display the makeup on. Another fun fact (tip): The vintage looking perfume bottle is actually brand new, I bought it empty at Hobby Lobby and put my favorite perfume inside! Unfortunately I did that before i Filmed because I\'m dumb. Enjoy!'
